Hand Lay-Up

Since our beginning JinLi Composites has produced work pieces with the use of hand lay-up and the experience of these many years has given us a large know-how in this area.

A continuously growing part of the hand-laid work pieces are now produced with advantage through vacuum molding / RTM due to the growing demands to the internal environment.

Hand lay-up has among others, the following benefits:

• Possibility of producing very large work pieces
• Low molding costs for small series.
• Thermoset and fiber reinforcement manually laminated in the mould

RTM / VARTM

Through recent years we have researched and developed several products in the RTM technology (Resin Transfer Molding), also called vacuum molding.

RTM technology has the following benefits:

• Considerably lower mold costs for mold are possible
• Smooth surface on both sides
• Possibility for gelcoat on both sides
• Tolerance stable work pieces
• Environmentally sound production due to closed mould
• Dimension: From small to large work pieces

VARTM using a vacuum bag has these benefits:

• Large products possible
• Top-quality products through the use of prepregs
• Clean production method
• Low molding costs
